ToYou
Introduction
Toyou is an online ordering and delivery platform that enable customers to make orders from restaurants through the ToYou app on Android and iOS or through the Website.

The integration between Foodics and ToYou will allow you to:
- Sync menu from Foodics to toYou. This includes Categories, Modifiers, Modifier Options, and Products. Combos are not supported
- Receive orders from Toyou directly in your Foodics Cashier
Important Notes
- Tax-exclusive pricing: Toyou integration does not support tax-exclusive pricing. If your Foodics account uses tax-exclusive pricing, the integration cannot be used. Please proceed only if your Foodics account uses
tax-inclusive
pricing. - Auto-created customer: After installing the integration, Toyou will automatically create a customer named
toyouCustomer
. This customer will be used exclusively for creating any orders from the Toyou side. Please ensure that no updates are made to this customer from the Foodics side. - Rounding: The integration does not support rounding. To ensure price consistency between Toyou and Foodics, please disable rounding in your Foodics account settings. Failure to do so may result in different prices due to rounding amounts.
- Make sure that your menu group in Foodics only contains products (no sub-groups) and make sure to add an image to the group as it will be your menu cover image on Toyou and it will be viewed by your clients.
Enabling The Integration
1- Send an email to integration@toyou.io requesting the API username & password to integrate with Foodics. Make sure to mention the username you use to log in to ToYou’s merchant portal & your brand name as registered with ToYou.
2- When the username & password are received, sign in to your Foodics account at http://console.foodics.com/login. Navigate to the Marketplace
page --> Search for Toyou
under the Food Aggregator
category --> Click Install

to proceed - Click
Cancel
if you want to cancel the process
3- After clicking Authorize, you will be taken to the integration login page. Use the API credentials received from ToYou in Step #1 above.
ToYou Integration Setup
After successfully logging in using the provided ToYou credentials, you will be taken to the integration Middleware
Settings Tab (General)
The Settings tab allows you to define which Foodics menu group & Order Tag you want to use in Toyou integration.
- You have to select the Foodics Menu Group that will be used to create your menu inside Toyou
- You have to select the Order Tag that will be assigned to Toyou orders

Note: You Should Select an Order Tag to be able to start using the integration.
Menu Group
The integration will sync your menu to Toyou based on a single menu group that you will create in Foodics Console.
This will allow you to add certain products to ToYou menu through the menu group.
Important Note: Make sure that your menu group on Foodics has an image as it will be your menu cover image on Toyou and it will be viewed by your clients.

Note: You Should Select a menu group to be able to start using the integration & Sync the menu.
Settings Tab (Branches)
When you activate an account in Toyou, based on the number of Poses(branches) you activated in Toyou, they will be listed on this setting page and you will be able to map these Poses(branches) to Foodics branches.
Please consider the following:
- Branches on the right, are Toyou branches, and on the left are Foodics branches.
- Save Button will save the branches and there’s no way to unlink a branch and relink it again.
- The relationship between Foodics branches and Toyou branches is 1:1 meaning, one branch in Toyou can be mapped to only one branch in Foodics.
- The refresh button will call newly added branches.
Menu Sync
The Menu Sync tab is where you will trigger the menu sync from Foodics to Toyou
Whenever you want to sync your Foodics menu to Toyou, you have to come to this page and do the sync.
Any non-configured branch will not appear on this page
- The menu sync time will differ based on your menu size in Foodics
- Clicking on the Sync button triggers a validation process by the Toyou team. As a result, the sync status will be set to
"Pending"
. Once the validation is completed, the status will be updated to"Success"
accordingly. - The status of the menu sync will appear on this page too, if sync is completed successfully, the status will be Success, else, the status will be Failed
- If the sync status is Failed, you can reach us at support@foodics.com to investigate
How to Receive ToYou Orders
