Epson Tm-T20II - How to Assign/Change the IP Address
To assign a new IP address for the printers or change the IP address, follow these steps:
1. Download EpsonNet Config software (You need a PC or Laptop that has an ethernet port):
- If the system of your laptop is Mac:

- If the system of your laptop is Windows:

2. Connect the printer to the laptop via Ethernet cable.
3. Open EpsonNet Config and press Refresh, and wait until the printer name is shown.
4. Double click on the printer name.
5. Press Basic under TCP/IP and click on manual.
6. Enter the following:
- IP Address, through this option, you will assign a new IP address for the printer:
Enter the same IP address for the router, but you need to change the last number.
For example, if the router IP is 192.168.8.1 (Click here to learn how to get the Router IP), you can have the printer IP as 192.168.8.X ; you can put on X any number between (2-254). - Subnet Mask: Enter 255.255.255.0
- Default Gateway: Enter your router IP.
7. Press Transmit > OK and wait until the page finishes loading, and press OK again.
8. Now, remove the ethernet cable from the PC and connect the printer to the router via Ethernet cable.
9. Add the printer to the Devices page in Cashier with the new IP Address given in step 6 (Click here to learn how to add a printer to the cashier app).
10. Press Ping to ensure a successful connection between the printer and the cashier app.
