Epson Tm-T20II - How to Set the IP address as Static
The concern about auto(dynamic) IP address mode is that the IP address will keep changing in case the router is disconnected.
This leads each time you face the issue to go to the cashier's devices page and update the printer's IP.
While having the IP address as static will ensure stability.
Follow these steps to set the IP address as Static:
1. Enter the IP address of the printer in the browser.
2. Click on show details.
3. Click visit this website.
4. Click visit website.
5. Enter the username and password.
Username: epson
Password: espon (with lower case).
If the previous password did not work, add the serial number of the printer as a password (You can find the serial number of the printer from the backside of the printer).
6. From the configuration list, click TCP/IP.
7. From Acquiring the IP address option, choose manual and click send.
8. Click reset.
By that, a Static IP address is assigned to the printer.
Notes:
- Make sure that the device you are using for this method, either IPad, PC, Laptop, or mobile, and the printers are connected to the same network.
- Usually, you can do the same steps for the rest of the printer model types with minor differences based on the printer brand.
- You can change the printer IP through these steps too.
