Please note that Prepit integration with Foodics does not support Combos, Free or default modifier options, and price tags.
Additionally, if you need to change the tax setting in your Foodics account from tax inclusive to exclusive or vice versa, please contact Prepit support team to configure this in your Prepit account accordingly. This will ensure that your tax settings match between the two systems and avoid any discrepancies.
Business Configurations in Foodics
Before enabling the integration, you need to do some configurations in your Foodics account as explained below:
- Create a charge in Foodics with the below details

- Assign the charge to all branches where Prepit is activated.
- By default, the delivery fee is set to 30, please contact Prepit's business team if you want to change it.
- Make sure that in your branches
“Accept Online Orders”
is set as true.

- To enable the integration between Prepit and Foodics, it is necessary to create a dedicated menu group for Prepit with the exact name

, and add all relevant menu items to this group.
Enabling the Integration
Note: You must have an account at Prepit before enabling the integration, if you don't have an account, contact Prepit team to create an account for you.
- Log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration
- Navigate to the Marketplace page --> Search for
Prepit
under theOnline Ordering
category --> ClickInstall
. - You will be directed to Prepit’s portal, enter your credentials then Login.
- A popup will show up once you log in successfully requesting you to connect to Foodics, click
Connect Now
. - Foodics will ask you to Authorize
Prepit
to access your Foodics Account, clickAuthorize Prepit To Access My Account
to proceed. - The integration has been enabled successfully.
Menu Sync
With the integration enabled, any changes made to your menu items will be automatically reflected in Prepit. You won't have to worry about manually updating your menu items as it will be done automatically.
To manually fetch your menu, as well as the rounding level and taxes type in your Foodics account, simply click on "Sync Settings & Menu"
on the sidebar. This feature is easily accessible and user-friendly, making it simple to ensure your menu is always up-to-date in Prepit.
How to receive Prepit orders in Foodics Cashier
Prepit orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
FAQs
Q1: Prepit is sending orders to my restaurant but I’m not receiving them in the Foodics cashier application
A: Please check the below points
1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to the Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status
2- Are there any pending orders from Prepit?
If Yes:
Make sure you have implemented all the needed steps to receive online orders as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
In the cashier app, click HOME
--> Sync Data
Ask Prepit to send new orders to test, orders should be received by the cashier
If No:
There is an issue at Prepit's side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with Prepit and inform them that there are no orders created from Prepit in your Foodics account.
