Mottasl
Mottasl platform uses WhatsApp to streamline communication with customers. Now, customer service representatives, teams, or AI-powered bots can gather customer input. CRM systems can be connected, customer interest can be gathered, and marketing broadcasts can be sent to customers.
By integrating the Mottasl App with Foodics, you'll be able to send and control order status updates directly to your customers through WhatsApp, all through one single unified business WhatsApp number.

Enabling the integration
Note: You must have a Mottasl Business API
account before enabling this integration. If you don't have an account, contact Mottasl support team on WhatsApp and they will help you to register an account.
- Log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, if you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.
- Navigate to the
Marketplace
page ---> Search forMottasl
under theOther
category ---> ClickInstall
. - Foodics will ask you to Authorize Mottasl to access your Foodics Account, click
Authorize Mottasl To Access My Account
to proceed. - You need to contact the Mottasl support team after the authorization step to acquire the Mottasl platform key and authenticate the integration.
- Once you get the key from Mottasl, you can enter the key in the integration portal and press authenticate on
https://foodics.mottasl.com
- The integration has been enabled successfully.
How to set and update the order statuses
Before setting the order status, it's mandatory to have approved template messages to use as notifications. Here are the steps.
- Navigate to Mottasl platform https://app.mottasl.com/apps/templates ---> Login or register if you don't have an account.
- Apply for a new template and add the content and the variable that match the order status that is required, and check the template status
it must be approved
. - In the integration portal we can use this approved template by clicking on the
Fetch Templates
option. - Choose the required template ---> select the required event, and add the variables if needed to the template ---> Then click on attach template, and you will get a popup with attached successfully which means integration is done.
- Repeat step 5 to update the other required order statuses.
- You can disable and enable the statuses from the
control statuses
tab.

- Mottasl platform

will be shared by Mottasl team. - Mottasl support team will guide you to finalize the integration with Foodics.
FAQs
Q1: Order Status is integrated, but the notification is not received by the customer on WhatsApp.
A: Please check the below points:
- The template is approved, not rejected or deleted.
- The variable has been matched successfully.
- The user has an active WhatsApp on his number. If you checked and still have the issue, please contact Mottasl support team to investigate the reason and solve the issue.
Q2: Can I edit the template to change the content?
A: Once the template is submitted, it cannot be edited, but you can apply for a new template with the required content and variables.
Q3: How many hours does it take to get a response on the new templates?
A: This step will be handled by the WhatsApp team, it takes an average of 3:4 Hours, and a maximum of 48 Hours to get a response.
