Are you facing an issue where your payment terminal shows a white screen and refuses to process payments? If your kiosk app also displays an error when attempting a payment, here's how you can troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Steps to Fix Payment Terminal Issues:
- Ensure Device Connection:
Check that the payment device is correctly connected to the kiosk by following the steps below:
- Check the cable connecting the kiosk to the payment device, and ensure the payment device is charging through the same cable to confirm that the cable is functioning properly.
- Navigate to the Kiosk Settings screen by clicking on the logo 5 times
- Click on “Access Configuration Page.”
- Under Payment device, click on “Ping device.”
- Restart the Payment Device:
- Power off the payment device, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on.
- Restart the Kiosk:
- Turn off the kiosk and restart it to refresh its system settings.
- Test the Payment Process:
- Try making a payment after restarting to verify if the issue is resolved.
