Prerequisite to Enabling the Integration
Brands wanting to install V-Thru, should make sure the below are fulfilled:
- You must have a valid contract with V-Thru, if not please join here.
- Ensure your brand is created at V-Thru.
- Ensure the creation of all the branches in V-Thru by your V-Thru Account manager
Business Configurations in Foodics
Before enabling the integration, you need to do create a Charge in your Foodics account in order to successfully receive delivery orders with the following details:
Create your charge, For full steps please look at the following article Here
- Name:
v-thru charge
- Type: Amount
- Is Open Value: Yes
Apply this charge on all Order Types & Branches then assign the relevant Tax Group to the charge if applicable.
Enabling the integration
- Log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.
- Contact your V-Thru account manager and provide the Foodics owner email used to create your Foodics account.
- Once you do, you will receive an email from V-Thru to sync your brand and authenticate your account. Click
Authenticate
. - You will be directed to an authorization page. to proceed with the authorization process, simply click on the
Authorize V-Thru To Access My Account
button. By doing so, you grant V-Thru the necessary permissions to access your Foodics account and enable the integration between the two platforms. - The integration has been enabled successfully.
Branch Configuration in Foodics
To configure your branches in Foodics, simply follow these steps:
- Contact your V-Thru account manager and provide them with the necessary information about your branches.
- Your V-Thru account manager will take care of mapping your branches with Foodics, ensuring seamless integration.
Menu Configuration in Foodics
- In case that you already have your menu uploaded on V-Thru Application, Your V-Thru Account manager will map your Foodics menu to your V-Thru menu.
- In case that you do not have your menu uploaded on V-Thru Application, your account manager will retrieve the menu from Foodics and map it on your behalf.
How to receive V-Thru orders in Foodics Cashier
V-Thru orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
FAQs
Q1: V-Thru is sending orders to my restaurant but I’m not receiving them in the Foodics cashier application
A: Please check the below points
1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to the Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status
2- Are there any pending orders from V-Thru?
If Yes:
Make sure you have implemented all the needed steps to receive online orders as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
In the cashier app, click HOME --> Sync Data
Ask V-Thru to send new orders to test, orders should be received by the cashier
If No:
There is an issue at V-Thru’s side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with V-Thru and inform them that there are no orders created from V-Thru in your Foodics account.
