Important Notes
- Ishbek Integration does not currently support combos as part of its features.
- Regarding price tags, the following naming conventions are applicable, and any changes made to these price tags will affect all branches:
- ishbek-talabat.
- ishbek-careem.
- ishbek-callcenter.
- ishbek-onlineordering.
- ishbek-mobile.
- ishbek-delivaroo.
- Ishbek-ashyaa.
- Ishbek-jahez.
- Custom pricing per branch is not included in Ishbek Integration at this time.
Branch Configuration in Foodics
For the integration to work properly, you must ensure that your branches in Foodics are configured correctly:
1- Ensure your branches have correct opening/closing timings
2- Ensure your branches have correct location information (latitude/longitude)
Note: Before enabling the integration make sure that your Foodics prices are tax inclusive.
Enabling the Integration
Note: Before enabling this integration, make sure you have an existing Ishbek account. If you don't have an account, you can register on app.Ishbek.com or reach out to Ishbek Support for assistance.
Follow the steps below to enable the integration:
- Visit console.foodics.com/login and log in to your Foodics console using the owner email. Please note that if you log in with a non-owner user, you won't be able to activate the integration.
- Once logged in, navigate to the Marketplace page and search for
Ishbek
under theOrdering Platforms Management
category. Click onInstall
to proceed. - Next, log in to the Ishbek dashboard using the account details provided by the Ishbek team. Then, go to the
services
section. - In the services section, click on
"POS"
. - Look for the
"Foodics"
button and click on it. - Foodics will prompt you to authorize Ishbek. Click on
"Authorize Ishbek To Access My Account"
to grant the necessary permissions and proceed. - After authorization, you will be redirected back to the Ishbek dashboard.
- Create branches for your business in Ishbek.
- Fill in the required data in the provided CSV file and then send the completed file to the Ishbek support team via email or contact your Ishbek account manager.
- In Ishbek, navigate to the menu section and choose
Menus
. On the left side, click on"POS Sync Integration"
. - Once clicked, all active products with their details will be created. Please note that this step may take a few minutes.
- Create a menu for each ordering channel based on your business needs.
- The integration has been enabled successfully.
How to receive Ishbek orders in Foodics Cashier
Ishbek orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
FAQs
Q1: Ishbek is sending orders to my restaurant but I’m not receiving them in the Foodics cashier application
A: Please check the below points
1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to the Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status
2- Are there any pending orders from Ishbek?
If Yes:
Make sure you have implemented all the needed steps to receive online orders as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
In the cashier app, click HOME
--> Sync Data
Ask Ishbek to send new orders to test, orders should be received by the cashier
If No:
There is an issue at Ishbek's side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with Ishbek and inform them that there are no orders created from Ishbek in your Foodics account.
