How can customers redeem Loyalty points?
There are multiple different locations a customer can choose to redeem their loyalty points. The redemption concept remains the same across the board. In this guide we will explain how its done.
How to redeem via Cashier
Start a new order and then search + Select the customer
Note: You cannot add a new customer and enable loyalty from the cashier. It will need to be done via the console then press the Sync button in the customer selection page to utilize it.- Once you select the customer, you will see their points accumulations, how much they are worth, and how much they wish to redeem
How to redeem via Customer Display Screen (CDS)
- Upon starting an order for a customer, a prompt will appear asking the client to share their mobile number to register as a new loyalty user, or utilize his own loyalty points if he is a returning customer.
- He can input his phone number (Or press skip entirely)
- From there the customer will see their points and how much they equal to in rewards. Also to select how many points they wish to redeem (Either via points value, or via currency value)
How to redeem via Waiter Application
- Add a customer to the order and proceed with the order.
- During payment phase to select Payment Methods, you will find Loyalty as one of the options
- Press on Loyalty and a window will be prompted to select how much the customer wishes to redeem (either via points value, or via currency value)
- The points will be added as payment to the order, and the customer can then pay the remaining amount.
How to redeem via Call Center
- Add the customer details, and start the order.
- When you start a new call center order, you will see above the search bar a button called "Loyalty Points" we need to press on that
- A pop up will show displaying the tier, points, and points value for the call center agent to relay to the customer. From here he can select the points or points value he wishes to redeem, then press redeem.
- The deduction will automatically appear under the sub-total and tax of the order.
How to redeem points via Call Center Online Payment links.
- Once your call center agent submits the order with Online Payment as the payment method, an SMS will be sent to the customer to start their payment
- When the customer opens the page, he will find "Loyalty Points" section which will also provide him a summary of what he has.
- If the customer presses on it, a pop-up window will appear displaying more details and see how many points or points value the customer wishes to redeem
- Once the points is selected, it will be deducted from the order total.
