How to schedule reports in Foodics BI?
In this guide we will explain how to schedule email reports from within Foodics BI.
- For example. let us assume you wish to extract the Product Details table to your email on a daily basis.
Note: this applies to any view you have previously created by utilizing the filters for the relevant data you need. - Press on the triple dots "..." > Schedule > Create Schedule
- A prompt will appear to give the ability to:
- Give a name to the schedule (and comment for more details)
- set the schedule (days and time) of when it will be sent.
- Change the schedule time zones
- Add a gating condition where it must do a check before sending the report (Such as Profit must be > 1,000) for it to activate and send.
- Select attachment type (PDF / XLSX / CSV
- Add recipients (by users or typing their emails) Note: The recipient will get the same data as you will in this area, so be careful on who you wish to share the report with.
- Change the view to another saved view
Change the filters should you want different results.
- You should then based on the schedule get an email that looks like below with the attachments added to it
- If you open any of the excel, this would be the same data as if you went and downloaded the data out of Foodics BI. Same style of sorting
Manage Schedules:
- You can go to your profile > Settings
- Go to schedules
- You can do the following:
- Search for a specific schedule
- Select any schedule from the screen.
- View the creator, how many recipients, frequency, and file format.
- If you press the check on one of the schedules, you can pause or delete it
- By pressing the "..." on the schedule, you can pause, edit, delete and View Run History
- Search for a specific schedule
