Product Mix Deep Dive in Foodics BI
Dashboard Purpose
Use this dashboard if you want to:
- Analyze the top 20 products by Net Sales per branch.
- Understand product pairing ratios (how often two products are sold together).
- Monitor branch-level product mix performance.
- Review order tag and order type details to see how mix ratios vary.
- Optimize menu design, promotions, and bundling strategies.
Example: If 100 pizzas (Product A) were sold yesterday and 10 of those orders also included Coca-Cola (Product B), the mix ratio is 10%.
Note: This report is monthly. Filtering ‘Business Day = Yesterday’ will show results for the month that “yesterday” falls in.
Common Use Cases

Available Filters
| Filter Name | Description | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Business Day | Filters data by date. Default is Last Month. | Report is monthly; filtering a day shows data for that entire month. |
| Branch Name | Filters by branch. | Example: Abha, Abu Dhabi. |
| Product Name | Filters by product. | Example: BBQ Chicken Pizza, BBQ Chicken Tenders. |
Metrics & Definitions
| Metric | Definition | Notes |

| Product A Orders | Total number of orders in which Product A was included. | Used as the denominator when calculating mix ratios. |
| Mix Orders | Number of orders where both Product Aand Product B were included together. | Used to calculate the pairing ratio with Product A. |
| Major Orders | Represents total orders of the benchmark (Product A). | Indicates the primary product under review. |
| Mix Ratio | (Mix Orders ÷ Product A Orders) × 100 | Shows how often a product (B) is sold with Product A. |
