How to activate & connect a Sub-cashier in Foodics Black?
With Foodics Black, you are able to connect sub-cashiers to your main cashier to increase the number of devices available for your employees. Note however that a main cashier license will not be able to act as a sub-cashier. You need to activate specifically a sub-cashier license on the device to be able to connect it to the main cashier.
To do so:
- Download the Cashier application from the Play store.
- Open the Cashier application.
- Under the Account number and Cashier code field you will notice the message "Activate Sub-Cashier" press on that.
- Fill in the account number and sub-cashier code (Found on the console > Manage > Devices > Select Sub-cashier > The 5 digit numbers in green highlight)
- Press Activate
- Once activated, you will be immediately provided with step by step on how to connect the device with your Main cashier. Let us follow these steps.
- From the Main cashier > Home > Devices > Add Device > Select "Sub-cashier"
- Input the IP address
- Press Ping
With that you have successfully connected your sub-cashier device to the main cashier.
