Tapback
Introduction
Tapback is a fast, secure, and brand-customized digital menu and contactless payment solution. Integrated with Foodics, it generates unique QR codes for every table, enabling guests to view the menu and pay their bills instantly.
The Pay at Table feature offers ultimate flexibility, allowing guests to pay the full bill or split it by item, by number of guests, or by a custom amount.
To ensure smooth operations, a dedicated Staff App allows teams to track table status and monitor orders in real time, maximizing efficiency and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Business Configurations in Foodics
Before enabling the integration, you need to do some configurations in your Foodics account as explained below:
- Create a payment method with the name Tapback, so the business can identify all paid orders from Tapback, and the staff can close the order from Cashier app by Tapback payment method.
Enabling the Integration
You need to have an account with Tapback before Enabling the Integration, If you don't have an account, please contact Tapback to register.
- Log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.
- Navigate to the
Marketplacepage ---> Search forTapbackunderTable paymentcategory ---> ClickInstall. - Authorization page appears, Foodics will ask you to Authorize Tapback to access your Foodics Account, click
Authorize Tapback To Access My Accountto proceed. - You will be navigated to Tapback merchant panel to enter your Tapback business credentials to sign in.
- In Tapback Dashboard, Click
Configuration--->Menufrom the main menu, to customize your menu as preferred, also Choose Active Pos Provider asFoodicsand check the enable button forpay at tablefeature. - Now , You need to map your data in foodics to tapback , navigate to Branches page ---> click
Pos Syncand map your branches with the exist ones. - Click on actions button on each branch ---> then Click
manage areas---> ClickPos Syncto sync your areas. - For each area Click
manage tablesbutton ---> then ClickPos Syncto sync your tables. - The Integration has been enabled successfully.
Using The Integration
Tapback will provide the QR Codes associated with each table in your restaurant.
- Customers will sit at their desired table.
- Cashier will assign a table for the order via the Cashier app.
- Customers will scan the QR Code displayed on the table and be able to pay the bill.
- After successful payment, the payment amounts along with tips will be displayed at Tapback Staff App, and the staff responsible for this area will be notified that this table has paid.
- Cashier should close the order from the cashier app and mark it as paid.
Important Notes
- Make sure that your Tapback account is not integrated with any other POS systems.
- After customer pay for the order, this payment will be reflected to dashboard and the staff app in realtime, but will not be reflected on Foodics Cashier, This means after successful confirmation of Tapback payment the order should be closed on Foodics Cashier manually and marked as paid.
