Taker
Introduction
Taker is an all-in-one solution designed to help restaurants boost sales and cut costs. Our platform provides tools to manage online ordering, customer engagement, real-time analytics, loyalty programs, and more.
The Taker Loyalty integration with Foodics extends your online loyalty program to in-store customers:
- Customers use a unified wallet balance across online and offline channels
- Customers can earn cashback on qualifying in-store orders
- Customers can redeem their wallet balance for in-store orders

Enabling the Integration
Note: You must have a Taker account before enabling this integration. If you don't have one, contact the Taker team to register.
- Log in to your Foodics Console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email. Non-owner users will not be able to activate the integration.
- Navigate to the Marketplace page → Search for Taker Loyalty under the Loyalty category → Click Install.
- An authorization page will appear. Click Authorize Taker Loyalty To Access My Account to proceed.
- You will be redirected to the Taker merchant panel. Enter your Taker business credentials to sign in.
- Once signed in, the integration will be enabled successfully.
Using The Integration
The integration works in three ways,
- Giving cashback to the wallet to your customers based on the configured cashback rules.
- Allowing your customers to use their wallet balance at the point of sale.
- Deducting cashback from the customer when the customer returns an order.
Customer Cashback Earning
Customers can either earn cashback or redeem their wallet balance on an order. Cashback is awarded based on the offer rules configured in Taker.
Cashback earning happens when a customer makes an order at your restaurant. You must add the customer to the order so that Taker can identify the customer and provide the cashback.
When making an order in the Cashier, follow the below steps to add the customer to the order:
- Create new
Order. - Click
Add Customeron the top of the left view. - Select the customer if pre-registered, or click the
+icon to create a new customer. - Proceed with the order
- Once the order is closed and paid, the customer will receive his cashback on wallet.
Customer Cashback Deduction
Cashback deduction for customers is automated by the integration and happens when a customer return an order.
To return an order, follow the below steps in the cashier app:
- Click
Orders. - Go to
All--> click on the order you want to return. - Click
More--> thenReturn Order. - Select the products to be returned with their quantities --> Click
Done. - Cashback will be deducted automatically from the customer's balance.
Customer Wallet Balance Redemption
The customer visits one of your branches and informs the cashier that he want to use his Taker wallet balance. The Cashier user will do the following:
- Create a new
Orderand ask for the customer information (Name or Phone number). - Click
Add Customeron the top of the left view and add the customer to the order. - If phone number verification setting is enabled in Taker integration settings, the customer will receive an OTP code via SMS — enter it in the Cashier app to confirm the phone number.
- Click
Moreon the top right -->Redeem Reward. - If the Customer has more than one Loyalty integration, the cashier will ask to select the integration --> Select
Taker Loyalty. - If you have only one loyalty integration, the cashier will directly ask you to enter the
Reward Codewhich should be displayed in the Taker Web Application --> ClickApply.
