Steps to enable integration
Note: You must have an OptCulture account before enabling this integration. If you don't have an account contact OptCulture to register.
1. Log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email. If you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.
2. Navigate to the Marketplace page --> Search for OptCulture under the Customer Engagement category --> Click Install.
3. An authorization page will appear. Click "Authorize OptCulture To Access My Account" to grant OptCulture access to your Foodics account.
4. You will be navigated to the OptCulture merchant panel to enter your business credentials.
5. Once you enter your OptCulture credentials, your account will be connected and sales will automatically flow to OptCulture.
6. Integration has been enabled successfully.
Using The Integration
The Earning mechanism is automatically available once the OptCulture application is enabled.
The integration works in three ways,
- Giving points to your customers.
- Allowing your customers to use their points to redeem their rewards
- Deducting points from the customer when the customer returns an order.
Customer Points Earning
Points Earning for customers is automated by the integration. Points earning happens when a customer makes an order at your restaurant. You must add the customer to the order so that OptCulture can identify the customer and increase his points.
The Earn Rule will be configured according to the client's requirements.
When making an order in the Cashier, follow the below steps to add the customer to the order:
- Create a new
Order. - Click
Add Customeron the top of the left view. - Select the customer if pre-registered, or click the
+icon to create a new customer. - Proceed with the order
- Once the order is closed and paid, the customer will receive his points.
Customer Points Deduction
Points deduction for customers is automated by the integration and happens when a customer returns an order.
The Redemption conversion rule will be configured according to the client’s requirements.
To return an order, follow the below steps in the cashier app:
- Click
Orders. - Go to
All--> click on the order you want to return. - Click
More--> thenReturn Order. - Select the products to be returned with their quantities --> Click
Done. - Points will be deducted automatically from the customer's balance.
Customer Reward Redemption
The customer visits one of your branches and informs the cashier that he want to use his Opt Culture Voucher discount. The Cashier user will do the following:
- Create a new
Orderand ask for the customer information (Name or Phone number). - Click
Add Customeron the top of the left view and add the customer to the order. - Click
Moreon the top right -->Redeem Reward. - If the Customer has more than one Loyalty integration, the cashier will ask to select the integration --> Select
OptCulture Loyalty. - If you have only one loyalty integration, the cashier will directly ask you to enter the
Reward Codewhich should be displayed in the OptCulture Web Application --> ClickApply.
Important Notes
Having an OptCulture account is a prerequisite.
