Hala Payment
Hala Pay at Table enables guests to scan a QR code at their table to instantly view their bill, split the payment with others, and pay using their preferred payment method without downloading or installing an app. It provides a fast, seamless, and contactless payment experience that helps restaurants improve the dining experience and speed up table turnover.

Business Configurations in Foodics
Before activating the Hala Pay-at-Table integration, you must first create a dedicated Hala PAT payment method in your Foodics account.
- In your Foodics Console, navigate to Settings → Payment Methods.
- Click + Add Payment Method, enter Hala PAT as the payment method name, then click Save.
Enabling the Integration
- Log in to your Foodics console at https://console.foodics.com/login using the owner email. If you logged in with a non-owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.
- Navigate to the
Marketplacepage → Search forHala Paymentunder theTable Paymentcategory → ClickInstall. - Authorization page appears. Foodics will ask you to authorize
Hala Paymentto access your Foodics account. ClickAuthorize Hala Payment To Access My Accountto proceed. - You will be redirected to the Hala Payment panel. Enter your Hala business credentials to sign in.
- Integration has been enabled successfully.
How It Works
- Staff create the order in Foodics as part of their normal workflow.
- The guest scans the QR code displayed on the table.
- Hala retrieves the open check from Foodics in real time.
- The guest reviews the bill, optionally splits it, and completes the payment using one of the following payment methods:
- Card
- Apple Pay
- Mada
- After the payment is successfully completed, the bill status is updated to Settled in the Hala Pay-at-Table dashboard.
- The merchant then manually records the payment in Foodics by selecting the Hala PAT payment method.
