How to Use Sales Report Filter Options
There are multiple ways to filter the sales report to get different outputs depending on what your business needs. There are 3 methods to filter the sales:
1- Using the "Filter" button
This first method depends only on the "Branches" and "order tags".
- Branches: To be able to select the branch that you want to see its sales
Order tags: If you want to filter the sales depending on the order tags like (Keeta tag)
2- Using "Sales by" field
This "Sales by" has multiple choices to choose from and filter your sales:
- Sales by Application: This is used once you want to filter the sales to be for the API orders, the application that you integrated with.
- Sales by branch: This is used once you want to filter the sales to see the sales for each branch. Each row will be for one branch.
- Sales by cashier: To get the sales that were done by the cashier user
- Sales by category: to see the sales of each category of the menu.
- Sales by combo: To see the sales of each combo that you created.
- Sales by coupon: To see the sales for each coupon that was used.
- Sales by charge: To see the sales of each charge.
- Sales by creator: To see the sales for each creator of the orders.
- Sales by customer: To see the sales of each customer that ordered from your restaurant.
- Sales by delivery zone: To see the sales for each delivery zone.
- Sales by discount: To see the sales for each discount that was used.
- Sales by modifier option: To see the sales of each modifier option in the menu.
- Sales by order source: To see the sales of each order source (cashier- API - Call center).
- Sales by order type: To see the sales for each order type (Pickup - delivery - dine-in - drive-thru).
- Sales by product: To see the sales for each product in the menu.
- Sales by promotion: To see the sales for each promotion that you created and used.
- Sales by section: To see the sales for each section for dine-in tables.
- Sales by table: To see the sales for each table.
- Sales by time event: To see the sales for each time event.
- Sales by branch tags: To see the sales for each tag that you assign to selected branches.
- Sales by product tags: To see the sales for each tag that you assign to selected Products.
- Sales by order tags: To see the sales for each tag that you assign to selected orders.
- Sales by Driver: To see the sales for each driver.
3- Using "Group by" field
This "Group by" has multiple choices to choose from that will appear in the column side:
- Group by Cashier: to see the sales by branch grouped by the cashier, then you will see each branch's sales for each cashier user.
- Group by Category: to see the sales by branch grouped by category, then you will see the sales for each category at the branch level.
- Group by Charge: To view sales grouped by charge, allowing you to see the total sales for each additional charge.
- Group by Combo: To view sales grouped by combo, showing the sales performance of each combo.
- Group by Creator: To view sales grouped by the user who created the order, allowing you to identify sales generated by each creator.
- Group by Customer: To view sales grouped by customer, showing the total sales and orders for each customer.
- Group by Delivery Zone: To view sales grouped by delivery zone, allowing you to analyze sales across different delivery areas.
- Group by Discount: To view sales grouped by discount, showing the total sales and discount amounts for each discount type.
- Group by Driver: To view delivery sales grouped by driver, allowing you to track the orders and sales handled by each driver.
- Group by Modifier: To view sales grouped by modifier, showing how each modifier was selected and its sales value.
- Group by Order Source: To view sales grouped by order source, such as Cashier, API, or other call centre.
- Group by Order Type: To view sales grouped by order type, such as Dine-in, Delivery, or Pickup.
- Group by Product: To view sales grouped by product, showing the sales performance of each product.
- Group by Promotion: To view sales grouped by promotion, allowing you to analyze the performance of each promotion.
- Group by Section: To view sales grouped by restaurant section, allowing you to compare sales across different sections for the dine-in tables.
- Group by Table: To view sales grouped by table, showing the sales generated from each table.
- Group by Time Event: To view sales grouped by time events, allowing you to analyze sales during different configured time events.
- Group by Day: To view sales grouped by day, showing daily sales within the selected date range.
- Group by Week: To view sales grouped by week, showing weekly sales trends.
- Group by Month: To view sales grouped by month, showing monthly sales trends.
- Group by Quarter: To view sales grouped by quarter, allowing you to compare sales every three months.
- Group by Year: To view sales grouped by year, showing annual sales trends.
- Group by Hour of Day: To view sales grouped by each hour of the day, helping identify peak business hours.
- Group by Day of Week: To view sales grouped by weekdays, allowing you to compare sales between different days of the week.
- Group by Day of Month: To view sales grouped by the day number of each month (e.g., 1st, 15th, 31st), helping identify monthly sales patterns.
- Group by Day of Year: To view sales grouped by the day number of the year, allowing yearly trend analysis.
- Group by Week of Year: To view sales grouped by the week number of the year, helping compare weekly performance across the year.
- Group by Month of Year: To view sales grouped by month names (1 - 12 ), allowing year-over-year monthly comparisons.
- Group by Quarter of Year: To view sales grouped by the quarter of the year (1, 2, 3, 4), allowing quarterly performance comparisons across years.
