Adding Products to Combos
Creating a combo allows you to enter the basic information about it. After that, you have to select the products that constitute your combo, determine available sizes, and to which groups the combo can belong and the available options on each group. So the combo is composed of Sizes, groups, and options (Products).
Important Note Before You Start
Before proceeding with any steps related to Combos, please ensure that your user account has the required permissions in the Console.
If the Combos Option Is Not Visible
If the Combos option does not appear while managing or creating combos, this is usually due to missing permissions on the user account, especially if the user is not the account owner.
How to Check Permissions
To verify your permissions, please follow these steps:
Go to Manage
Select Roles
Choose the role assigned to your user account
If the Roles page is not visible, please contact the account owner to update your user permissions.
Required Permissions
Make sure the following permissions are enabled:
Read Menu
Manage Menu
Once these permissions are enabled, the Combos options will appear, and you will be able to create and manage combos normally through the Console.
1. Click Menu on the side menu.
2. Click Menu Builder.
3. Click Combos.
4. Click on the combo where you want to add products.
5. Scroll the page down to the Product section and click Add Size.
6. A pop-up window will open where you can write the name of the size of your combo (Large, Medium, Small, Extra etc).
To start composing your combo, you have to select the groups to which each product of the combo belongs (For example, Drinks Group, Salad Group, …etc).
7. Click Add Group.
8. Click on the group to add a name for it then click save.
9. To add the product options under each group, click Add Option under the name of the group.
10. pop-up window will open where you can add:
- Name: Enter the name of the option.
- Name Localized: Enter the localized name of the option in a 2nd language of your choice.
- For each size you created:
- Product: Enter the product of choice.
- Price: Enter the product price based on the size.
11. Click Save.
Now, the Products section of the Combo Details Page will be updated as shown in the figure below.
