Creating Timed Events

Timed Events allow you to adjust your menu prices or availability for a limited period of time, where these events affect the original prices of the products and take precedence over all types of offered discounts.

1. Click Manage on the side menu.

2. Click Timed Events.

3. Click Create Timed Event.

4. A pop-up window will open with the following fields:

• Name (obligatory field): Enter the name of the new timed event.
• Name Localized: Enter the localized name in a 2^nd language of your choice.
• Type (obligatory field): Select the type of the timed event:
• • • Set Fixed price: Product prices are set to a specific amount defined in the amount below.
    • Reduce price by percent/amount: Product prices are reduced by a percentage/amount defined in the timed event criteria.
    • Increase price by percent/amount: Product prices are increased by a percentage/amount defined in the timed event criteria.
    • Activate Products: Products are active in the menu regardless of the defined activation status.
    • Deactivate Products: Products are not active in the menu regardless of the defined activation. status.

• Start Date (obligatory field): Enter the date when the timed event starts.
• End Date (obligatory field): Enter the expiry date of the timed event.

5. Click Save.

The screen will now be updated with the name of your new timed event appearing as part of a card collection, with each card containing the promotion name, its status, and its start and end dates.
