Cashier App Settings
Cashier App allows you to manage the settings of the cashier app.
1. Click Manage.
2. Click More.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the Cashier App tab.
5. Fill the following information:
- Preset Tendered Amounts: Enter the values of common cash bills used by your customers, comma separated like (50,100,500).
- Tendered Amount Currencies: Enter currencies that can be used in the cashier, comma separated like (SAR, USD, …etc.).
- Predefined Tips Percentages: Enter suggested tips to your customers that appear to them at the payment screen as percentage of order value, comma separated like (10,20,30).
- Upload Orders Delay (Minute): Enter how long to wait before uploading closed orders from the cashier to the console. After this period, the uploaded order can’t be changed.
- Inactive Users Logout (Minute): For better security, enter the number of minutes after which the cashier automatically logs out if the user is not active.
- Maximum Return Period (Minute): Enter the duration within which the customer can return the order to you and get refunded.
- Require order tags for orders: Choose the order types that will require the employee to choose an order tag when creating one.
- Rounding Method:
- Up: Adds the needed amount to the price to reach the selected rounding level.
- Down: Deducts the needed amount to the price to reach the selected rounding level.
- Average: Rounds to the nearest number that fulfills the selected rounding level.
- Rounding Level: Select a value between 1 and 0.01 to decide the precision of rounding up, down, or average.
- Kitchen Sorting Method: How order products will be sorted in the kitchen display and kitchen receipt.
- Enable Tips: Check this box to allow the cashier to add tips to all types of orders.
- Discount Requires Customer Info: Check this box to enforce the cashier to register customer info before adding a discount without.
- Void Requires Customer Info: Check this box to enforce the cashier to register customer info before voiding an order.
- Require Table and Guest Count Selection For Dine In Orders: Check this box to enforce asking for table number and guest count for Dine In orders.
- Always Ask For Void Reasons: Check this box to enforce the cashier to register a reason before voiding any order or product.
- Auto Send To Kitchen After Full Payment: Check this box to send the order automatically to the kitchen once it is fully paid.
- Auto Data Sync at Start of Day: Check this box to sync data automatically when the user logs in to Foodics Apps.
- Auto Print Products Mix: Check this box to automatically print the product mix with End Of Day report.
- Auto Print Tills reports: Check this box to automatically print the till summary reports with End Of Day report.
- Force Inventory Before End Of Day: Check this box to enforce counting the inventory items in the branch before the user can make an End Of Day.
- Auto Close Kiosk Orders: The cashier app will automatically close Kiosk orders when an order is fully paid and bumped in KDS (Applicable For businesses that have a Kiosk device).
6. Click Save Changes.
