Creating Device Tags

Tags are an important tool in your Foodics account to categorize and organize the various entities such as customers, branches, orders, products…etc. You can think of tags as a special type of label to filter the entity you want, as explained here for Devices. In addition, as an example for devices tags, waiter devices tags, family section tags, etc.

1. Click Manage on the side menu.

2. Click More.

3. Click Tags.

4. Scroll the page to the Device Tag section and click Create Tag.

5. A pop-up window will open with the following fields:

• Name (obligatory field): Enter the name of the new device tag. For example, Main Cashier, or Waiter.
• Name Localized: Enter the localized name in a 2^nd language of your choice.

6. Click Save.

Once you create a device tag, you can assign it to certain devices so you can easily filter them for further actions (Click here to learn how to assign tags to devices).
