Creating Reasons
Some transactions in Foodics Cashier App and Console require a Reason to be completed. This is useful to restrict sensitive transactions to certain situations only.
For example, you can't open the drawer in the cashier without adding a reason to the operation first.
You can add as many reasons as you need in the Console for users to assign to their actions and transactions.
1. Click Manage on the side menu.
2. Click More.
3. Click Reasons.
4. You will find three types of reason categories:
- Void and Return Reason.
- Quantity Adjustment Reason.
- Drawer Operation Reason.
5. Scroll the page to reach the section of the reason category most suitable to the new reason.
6. A pop-up window will open with the following fields:
- Name (obligatory field): Enter the name of the new reason.
- Name Localized: Enter the localized name in a 2nd language of your choice.
7. Click Save.
