Creating Kitchen Flows

A Kitchen Flow is the flow of product preparation steps on KDS (kitchen display system) stations from start to end. This helps define where the order starts and where it goes in each step until the full order is finished. A Kitchen Flow should be defined in the console and assigned to different branches, products, and stations.

1. Click Manage on the side menu.

2. Click More.

3. Click Kitchen Flows.

4. Click Create Kitchen Flow.

5. A pop-up window will open with the following field:

• Name (obligatory field): Enter the name of the new kitchen flow. For example, Icy Orange Juice.

6. Click Save.

The screen will now be updated with the name of your new kitchen flow appearing in a table, as shown in the figure below. You will notice that the right column, "Active" indicates the status of the kitchen flow.

Once a kitchen flow has been created, add the relevant stations to the flow (Click here to learn how to add stations to the flow).
