Assigning Custom Item Levels to Branches
When managing multiple branches, the level of inventory items differs from one branch to another. To maintain the proper amount of stock in each branch apply custom inventory levels to specific branches instead of the default levels (used in high-traffic branches) and specify the minimum and maximum levels for each branch. Follow these steps to assign custom item levels to branches.
1. Click Inventory on the side menu.
2. Click Items.
3. Select the item from the list.
4. Scroll down to Custom levels and click "Select Branches".
5. A pop-up window will open with the following fields to fill:
- Branches (Obligatory field): Select the branch or warehouse (you can also select by tags by clicking Select by Tags?).
- Minimum Level: Select the minimum level allowed in the selected branch or warehouse for this item.
- Par Level: Assign the initial quantity for this item when you create a purchase order or transfer order for the selected branch.
- Maximum Level: Select the maximum level allowed in the selected branch or warehouse for this item.
6. Click Apply.
