Creating Devices

Since Foodics runs on tablets and communicates with other devices, you can register and manage them through the system using the Devices module.

1. Click Manage on the side menu.

2. Click Devices.

3. Click Create Device.

4. A pop-up window will open with the following fields:

• Type (obligatory field): Enter type of associated device (KDS, Notifier, Display,...).
• Name (obligatory field): Enter the name of the new device.
• Reference (obligatory field): Enter a unique ID number or code for each device, or click Generate to give you a ready one.
• Branch: Select the branch where this device will be used.

5. Click Save.

The screen will now be updated with the name of your new device appearing in a table containing several columns as shown in the figure below. You will notice in the middle a column called Status to indicate the usage status of the device.
