Adding or Importing Items to Transfer Transaction
A transfer transaction cannot be completed without identifying the items to be transferred either by direct addition or importing a ready list as an Excel/CSV file.
1. Click Inventory on the side menu.
2. Click Transfers.
3. Select the transaction from the list.
4. Scroll down to Items and click Add Items.
5. A pop-up window will open where you can select items to be added.
6. You can also add items by their tags by clicking Select by tags?
7. Click Save.
8. Click Edit Quantities to enter the desired transfer quantity.
Alternatively, if you have a ready list of items, you can import them by following steps 1-3 above then:
1. Scroll the page downward to reach the Items section and click Import Items.
2. A pop-up window will open where you can upload the file, which should include the following data:
- SKU: Unique code for the item.
- Ingredients Quantity: Quantity of the item based on the unit used in products (For example, gram or milligram).
- Storage Quantity: Quantity of the item based on the unit used in storage (For example, box or Kg).
3. Click Save.
In case there was some missing data or errors in the CSV file format, the system will indicate that to the user to fill the gaps or correct the errors.
Authorized users can send the items. Once the transfer has been sent, the inventory levels of the sender source will decrease. (Click here to learn how to send a transfer transaction.)
