Understanding the Payments Report

Foodics provides you with different types of analyses to enhance your knowledge of your business operations and to help you make informed decisions. The payments report gives you beneficial insights about the used payment methods, the frequency of using them, and the total amount of transactions in each payment method.

1. Click Reports on the side menu.

2. Click Payments.

The main columns of the Payments report are:

• Payment Method: The name of the payment method.
• Amount: The total amount includes returns.
• Count: The number of times a payment method is used.
• Return Amount: The total return amount.
• Return Count: The number of times a payment method is used in returns.
• Net Amount: The total amount, not including returns.
• Tips: The total amount of given tips.

In addition, to have a deeper insight, the report can be grouped by:

• Branch.
• Order Source.
• Order Type.
• Day.
• Week.
• Month.
• Quarter.
• Year.
• Hour of Day.
• Day of Week.
• Day of Month.
• Day of Year.
• Week of Year.
