Using the Sales Report
The Reports Module in the console is the main analytics engine that you can use to learn more about your business. The Sales Report can be used to generate useful results and insights.
1. Click Reports on the side menu.
2. Click Sales.
To get an idea about your sales, you can utilize 3 aspects of the sales report:
- Sales by: Determine the main factor you want to base your report on. For example, products.
- Group by: Determine the second factor of your report. For example, branches.
- Date range: Determine the period where you want to see the results. For example, Today, Yesterday, Last Week, or This Month.
For example, if you want to check your product sales per branches during the last week:
1. Click Reports on the side menu.
2. Click Sales.
3. Click Sales By dropdown list and select Products on the top left corner.
4. Click Group By dropdown list and select Branch,
5. Select the period of the report from the calendar.
The report will show the results on the screen as follows.
You can also check the results graphically when the Show Graph button appears on the right of the report.
1. Click the Show Graph button.
2. Select the Metric of the graph. For example, Net Sales.
You will get the following graph showing the sales achieved by different sold products.
