Menu Engineering Report
Foodics provides you with different types of analyses to enhance your knowledge of your business operations and to help you make informed decisions. Menu Engineering report helps you analyze the profitability and popularity of your products in a certain period for all or specific branches.
1. Click Reports on the side menu.
2. Click Analysis.
3. Click Menu Engineering button to open the standard report.
Main columns of the Menu Engineering report are:
- Sales: Sum of product price - Taxes - Returns + Discounts.
- Quantity: Number of the sold products without the returns.
- Total Cost: Cost of product * Quantity
- Item Profit: Product Sales - Cost.
- Total Profit: Product Profit * Quantity.
- Popularity: Quantity of this product / Sum of All Products in this period.
- Profit Category: Low or High Profitability.
- Popularity Category: Low or High Popularity.
- Class: A global standard of popularity and profitability`:
- Star: High profit and High popularity.
- Workhorse: Low profit and High popularity.
- Challenge: High profit and Low popularity.
- Dog: Low profit and Low popularity.
