Creating Delivery Zones
Delivery Zones define the service areas of each branch. A zone is identified by optional coordinates and can be assigned to multiple branches and customer addresses. During Call Center orders, if a customer is requesting delivery, they order will be served only from a branch that is delivering to the customer's zone.
1. Click Manage on the side menu.
2. Click More.
3. Click Delivery Zones.
4. Click Create Delivery Zone.
5. A pop-up window will open with the following fields:
- Name (obligatory field): Enter the name of the new delivery zone. For example, Delivery Fees.
- Name Localized: Enter the localized name in a 2nd language of your choice.
- Reference: Enter a unique code for the delivery zone.
6. Click Save.
The screen will now be updated with the name of your new delivery zone appearing in a table containing several columns as shown in the figure below. You will notice a column called Created to indicate the date of delivery zone creation.
