How to Void a Product or Order

Void is canceling a product or order as long as the order is active. Once an order is completed and paid in full, the order cannot be voided but only returned. The steps below will show you how to void a product and an order. 

- Void Products:

1. Select the product on the order to be voided.

2. Click Void. The product has now been removed from the order. 

- Void an Order:

1. On the main page of the cashier app, Click Void. 

2. Select the void reason. The order is now void and cannot be edited. Click "New" to create a new order (Click here to learn how to create reasons).

In some cases, cashiers would click on New and take the new customer's order; however, this is wrong as the previous order remains active.

To close previous open orders.

1. Click on Orders.

2. Click on the Order to be voided. 

3. Click Void and select the reason for voiding.
