Locate
Introduction
Locate is an online ordering and delivery service operating in Saudi Arabia, where customers can make online orders through Locate Mobile App. This integration will allow your restaurant to receive orders from Locate directly in your Foodics Cashier Application.
Notes on the integration:
- Locate's integration supports Tax-Inclusive pricing only, make sure that your Foodics settings is set to
Tax Inclusive Pricing
before enabling the integration. - One Locate account can be linked to a single branch in Foodics.

Business Configurations in Foodics
Create anOpen

then assign the relevant Tax Group to the charge if applicable. Copy and paste the charge name asLocateDelivery

Enabling the integration

log in to your Foodics console at console.foodics.com/login using the owner email, If you logged in with non owner user, you will not be able to activate the integration.

Navigate to the
Marketplace
page --> Search forLocate
underOnline Ordering
category --> ClickInstall

You will be navigated to Locate's merchant panel enter your Locate's business credentials to sign in. If you don’t have an account click the following link https://shukah.com/site/contact to register.

Once you logged in navigate to
Foodics
tab from the left navigations menu --> clickSettings
. -
You will be taken to a new page where you will find an
Authorize
button click it. -
Foodics will ask you to Authorize Locate to access your Foodics Account, click
Authorize Locate To Access My Account
to Proceed. -
You will be taken back to Locate's Foodics Settings page. You should see a success message, the integration now is active and ready to be used. If you see any error message, contact Locate for support.

From the Foodics settings page you will find a button called
Synchronize Food Items
. Click it to sync your settings, products and modifiers from Foodics. Select the branch you want to connect your account to then clickSave

Integration has been enabled successfully.
Menu Sync
Menu sync is manual, meaning whenever a change is done to the menu in Foodics you need to navigate to Locate's merchant's portal the go toFoodics

-->Save
How to Receive Locate Orders in Foodics Cashier
Locate orders will be received as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
FAQ:
Q1: Locate is sending orders to my restaurant but I’m not receiving them in Foodics cashier application
A: Please check the below points
1- Sign in to your Foodics account at console.foodics.com/login, then go to Orders Page. This page will show you all API orders that are in Pending status
2- Is there any pending orders from Locate ?
If Yes:
Make sure you have implemented all needed steps to receive online order as explained in the Accept Online Orders Article.
In the cashier app, clickHOME
-->Sync Data
Ask Locate to send new orders to test, orders should be received in the cashier
If No:
There is an issue at Locate's side in sending orders to your Foodics account. Please communicate with Locate and inform them that there are no orders created from Locate in your Foodics account.
