Troubleshooting solutions to common syncing issues
Issue 1: Categories Not Syncing
If you delete a category, you will no longer be able to sync it.
You have two options:
- Add another menu and sync again; or
- Request Foodics support team to undelete the category.
Issue 2: Images Not Syncing
There are two possibilities:
- There is already an image of Foodics online.
- The images have been exempted from sync.
Issue 3: Deleting Menus
You can request that the Foodics support team delete your menu by following the steps below:
Go to the menu page on the FO Portal and copy the number at the end of the URL:
Send it to the Foodics support team and request to have it deleted.
Issue 4: Menu Not Updating
If the menu data does not reflect on the ordering channel (i.e. the apps), you can edit on item (product) and save it a few times.
Troubleshooting Other Menu Issues
Most menu syncing issues can be fixed by creating a new menu and deleting the existing menu.
However, this is only recommended for urgent issues.
