Using Locations
It’s important to have your location created in the FO Portal.
Step 1: Sync a New Location (Add Branch)
FO Portal > Locations
Go to the locations page:
1. Click Dashboard.
2. Click Locations.
3. Click Sync Locations.
The data available in the Foodics Console will be synced.
Step 2: Add Missing Information
Please note that the information that you will add will be visible to the end customers. Therefore, it needs to be customer-friendly.
4. Click the ‘Edit’ icon.
5. A popup window will appear with the following fields:
- Enter Location Name - English/Arabic.
- Select Auto Assign Logistics Company.
- Enter Address - English/Arabic.
- Select Image Type.
- Select Upload Image.
- Enter Telephone.
- Enter the Country.
- Select Store Times.
- Enter POS.
Add the information relevant to the end customers.
6. Select the location on the map.
7. Fill in the missing branch information.
8. Click ‘Done’.
Editing Locations
FO Portal > Locations >Edit Icon
The branch’s information can be edited by clicking the purple icon on the locations page.
Click
1. Click Dashboard
2. Click Locations.
3. Edit Icon.
All the information that you have added when creating a location can be edited here.
Disabling a Branch Temporarily
FO Portal > Locations > Disable Branch Icon.
The branch can be disabled temporarily by clicking the dark blue icon on the locations page.
1. Click Dashboard
2. Click Locations.
3. Click the disable branch icon.
You can use this to stop a branch from receiving orders from your app and website.
