Setting up Unifonic SMS
Unifonic is a fast and reliable SMS provider. This article explains how to integrate your Unifonic account with Foodics Online.
Log in to your Unifonic account at https://cloud.unifonic.com/login
From the Unifonic dashboard, locate the 'Resources Management' card and click the 'Add Sender ID' button.
Click the button 'Add New Sender Name' and complete the form. Enter up to 11 characters (letters or numbers) in the 'Sender name' field. This will be shown to the end-customers as the source of the SMS.
Ensure that 'Type' is set to 'Notification', and that the correct country is selected.
After successfully creating your sender name, go back to the Unifonic dashboard, locate the 'Applications Management' card, and click 'Check the Feature' to set up a new application.
Select application type 'HTTP', and give the application a name like 'Foodics OTP'.
For 'Default Sender Name', the sender name that you set up in the previous step.
Save the form, and you will see a table displaying your Applications, with your new Application shown as below:
You will need this AppSID and the Sender Name to connect Foodics Online to the Unifonic application and enable SMS messaging.
Log in to your Online Portal and go to Settings -> Integrations.
Locate the 'Unifonic Basic' card and click 'Install':
Enter your Sender Name ('Origin') and AppSID and click 'Install':
All done! You have now configured an application in Unifonic and linked your Foodics Online account to enable SMS one-time passwords for your Foodics mobile app.
