How to Connect Android Customer Display Screen With the Cashier App and Activate the Payment
You can easily connect the Android Display App (CDS) with the Cashier App by following the steps below:
Section 1: Obtaining the IP address from the Android Display App (CDS)
1. Open the display app and click the three lines(≡) in the top left corner so you gain access to the options menu.
2. Press on Diagnostic to access the page and there you will find the IP address in the 2nd row. Record down the IP address for the next step
Section 2: Connecting Android Display App (CDS) with the Cashier
Now that we have the IP address, it is time to connect the Display screen with the Cashier. To do so, please follow the steps below:
1. From the cashier app Click Home.
2. Click Devices.
3. Click (+) and select Display.
4. Enter the IP address obtained from the Display App in Section 1.
7. Click Save.
8. Click Ping to test the connection. When the connection status changes to Online, it means both devices are connected successfully.

Section 1: Activating Payment feature in the Android Display App (CDS)
To activate the payment feature in your Customer Display App, please follow these steps carefully.
Pre-requirements:
- It is required to have signed the pay agreement before attempting to activate the feature.
- Access the Console via Owner's Account, go to User Profile and ensure the mobile number (Including 966) on the profile matches the number provided during the signing of the contract and then sync data from the cashier app (to learn how to sync data click here).
1- Open the Customer Display App and click on the three lines(≡) located in the left-right corner.
2- Select Devices.
3- Click on Add Phone Number.
4- Enter your phone number and click Save.
5- Locate and click on NearPay Connect (V2). Install the payment plugin and allow the location permission. Then, select the terminal you wish to activate.
6- Switch to the Cashier App and navigate to Home > Devices > "+" > Select payment terminal
7- Select the terminal type as Near Pay V2.
8- Type a preferred name for the terminal and fill in the IP address from the Customer Display then click Save. (Click here for steps on how to obtain the IP address)
By following these steps, you will successfully activate the Payment Feature in your Customer Display App.
