How to Assign a Menu Group to a Cashier/Sub Cashier Device
Once your menu groups are ready, you can assign each Cashier to a Menu Group. This is useful if you have different Menus for each device or each branch.
Note: The Cashier Device will show the Parent Menu Group and all its Sub Groups if any.
Important Note Before You Start
Please ensure that the user has the required permissions in the Console before performing any actions related to menu group management.
If the Menu Groups Section Is Not Visible
If the Menu Groups section does not appear while attempting to manage menu groups in the Console, this is usually due to missing permissions on the user account, especially if the user is not the account owner.
How to Check Permissions
To verify the permissions, please follow these steps:
Go to Manage
Select Roles
Choose the role assigned to the user account
If the Roles page is not visible, please contact the account owner to update the user’s permissions.
Required Permission
Please make sure the following permission is enabled:
Read Menu
Manage Menu
Once this permission is enabled, the Menu Groups section will appear, and menu groups can be managed normally through the Console.
1. Click Manage on the side menu.
2. Click Devices.
3. Click on the cashier device to be updated.
4. Click Edit Device.
5. A pop-up window will open and from the options Menu Group, assign the suitable menu to the device (Click here to learn how to create menu groups).
6. Click Save.
After that, need to sync the data from the cashier app to get the new display on the cashier app (Click here to learn how to sync data).
