Combos:

Combos are used to create seasonal offers by grouping multiple items into a single offer at a fixed price. For example, a National Day Combo can include three items with the option to choose the type and size of each item, such as:
a main dish (choice between chicken biryani or lamb kabsa in regular or large size),
a side dish (lentil soup or samosas in regular size),
and a drink (laban or tamarind juice in regular or large size),
all offered at a fixed and special price.

Combos can also be used for promotional offers, such as:
“Buy two desserts and get a coffee for 1 SAR.”

Time Events

Use timed events to apply temporary changes to product pricing or availability during specific time periods. Timed events allow you to set fixed prices, increase or reduce prices, or activate and deactivate products automatically, making them ideal National Day time-based offers.

Modifiers / Modifier Options

Use modifiers and modifier options to allow customers to customize products by selecting different options or variations. Modifiers are ideal for National Day  menus where items may have multiple choices.
For example, customers can choose the type of sambosa (cheese, meat, vegetable) or select the type of rice (white rice, kabsa rice, biryani rice) when ordering National Day meals.

Price Tags:

Use price tags to display specific prices for products without changing their base price. Price tags are ideal for seasonal menus such as National Day. Once the cashier selects a specific price tag in the cashier app, the menu prices automatically update based on the prices configured in that price tag, allowing quick and easy price switching.

Categories:

Use categories to organize your menu and create new sections such as National Day meals, beverages, or main dishes. Categories help group related items together, making the menu clearer and easier to navigate during National Day or Foundation Day.

Menu Groups:

Use menu groups to organize your menu into a clear hierarchical structure starting from a main group, followed by sub-groups, and then products. This setup helps group related items together and speeds up order-taking on cashier devices. Menu groups can also be assigned per device, allowing each cashier to have a different menu based on their operational needs, which is especially useful during National Day.

For example, a main menu group called “National Day Menu” can be created, with sub-groups such as Main Dishes, Appetizers, and Drinks. 

The Main Dishes group can include a sub-group like Rice Dishes, which contains items such as kabsa and biryani.
The Appetizers group can include a sub-group called Hot Appetizers, with items such as soup and samosas.
Meanwhile, the Drinks group can include a sub-group called National Day Drinks, with items such as juices and laban.
